Dry crop land values are down this year in Riley 69传媒, while grass and ranch land values are up, according to a report from the county Riley 69传媒 appraiser.
At Thursday69传媒檚 meeting of the Riley 69传媒 Commission, county appraiser Anna Burson told commissioners her department is finalizing property values to send out change-of-value notices.
The personal property teams are setting values and updating personal records around Riley 69传媒, Burson said. The team also has been assisting with residential matters, updating the information for this year.
69传媒淛anuary saw a total of 19 sales, including 14 residential homes, with a median sale price of $225,000 and an average sale price of $290,935,69传媒 Burson said. Burson said this year, the county69传媒檚 agricultural appraiser will conduct reviews of properties and agricultural uses that did not submit maps to make updates.
69传媒淭hat will be the discovery of things that69传媒檚 not been in ag use in ag use that could result in potential change in classification,69传媒 Burson said. 69传媒淎dditionally, there are going to be 272 properties that are scheduled for their reinspection.69传媒
Burson said the residential team is working to finalize the year-end data, running reports, setting values, and concluding payment under protest hearings.
