The sun shines on Harris Activity Center at 530 Poyntz Ave. in downtown 69传媒 on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025. 69传媒 Presbyterian has announced plans to purchase the historic building to become its place for worship and ministry. Harris Activity Center originally was a Free Mason temple in the 1920s, and First United Methodist Church has owned it the last 85 years. 69传媒 Presbyterian Church pastor Brian Hough said the sale may finalize in March. The congregation has been meeting for worship at the 69传媒 Mennonite Church meetinghouse, Wareham Hall and Union Hall.
