A teenage girl took the stand Wednesday to testify against a 69传媒 man charged with stealing nude photos of her from her boyfriend69传媒檚 phone.

The trial for Tristian Gooden-Heit, 29, of 69传媒 began Tuesday in Riley 69传媒 District Court with jury selection and was expected to continue through Thursday.

Gooden-Heit is facing 15 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and single counts of interfering with law enforcement by tampering with the evidence and committing a computer crime.

The victim and her boyfriend testified on Wednesday. The victim, who was 14 at the time of the incident and was not identified in court, said she had shared nude photos during her relationship with her boyfriend in 2022.

The boyfriend, who lived in the boys69传媒 home Opportunities Unlimited in Ogden at the time of the incident, saved some of the photos to a Google Photos folder. Gooden-Heit was a staff member at the facility.

On Jul. 26, 2022, the boy went for a run with two other boys and said he gave his phone to Gooden-Heit, expecting Gooden-Heit to delete photos he had discovered of the boy smoking marijuana.

The boy got the phone back later and found out from the victim69传媒檚 sister that the photos had been sent to Gooden-Heit.

They called police the day of the incident, and Gooden-Heit spoke with Officer Jesse Shane with the Riley 69传媒 Police Department. Shane testified Wednesday that Gooden-Heit had tried to 69传媒渆rase his phone69传媒 after Shane told Gooden-Heit he was going to have to seize the phone for evidence.

Gooden-Heit69传媒檚 trial continued on Thursday.
